I started spending time in the outdoors at a very early age. I've been all over the woods of Southwest Missouri chasin' game!! All through my school days, I wanted to pursue a career in the outdoors. During the fall of my sophomore year in high school I got the opportunity that would eventually change my life. I was invited to film a whitetail hunt in Mississippi. 18 years later and I'm still doing what I love. It has taken me to 48 states and several countries. In 1991 I hunted Kansas for the first time. I've been back every year since. It wasn't until about 2004 that I started thinking about starting a small outfitting business. I've spent the next few years looking at thousands of acres of property before I found what I was looking for. My goals are to offer quality hunts at an affordable price with a very limited amount of hunting pressure. Currently, we have property in 18 different sections in Kansas. We'll only have 4 hunters in camp at a time!! Most of our hunts will be spaced 5-10 days apart!!
In order to manage our properties for years to come, our minimum buck for archery hunters is 130" and our minimum for rifle & muzzleloader is 140". This Southeastern region of Kansas has a good mixture of crop fields, creek bottoms, hardwoods, and cattle pastures. Therefore, it's prime whitetail and turkey country!!
You'll be hunting out of loc-on treestands, ladder stands, and ground blinds. You will be required to wear a safety harness while in an elevated stand. If you do not have one, we will provide you with one.
All of our hunts are 2 on 1, meaning 2 hunters per guide. 1 on 1 guide service is available at an additional cost.
When you book a hunt with us, you'll receive a "hunters packet". The packet will contain a hunter profile form, equipment list, and some other info regarding the hunt. The hunter profile form allows us to get to know you better such as: Any special diet needs, your personal info for the deer application process, and any other info you deem necessary for us to know before you arrive in camp.
Although our properties carry some true monsters, most of the bucks that will be harvested will score from 130"-160". All of our guides are hunters themselves and will be scouting the property year-round to put you in the best position to harvest a mature buck or a big ol' struttin' tom!!
Most of our property is near the Parsons, KS area. It is about 120 miles frome the Tulsa, Kansas City, and Wichita airports. Pick-up and return to airport is included in all guided deer hunt packages. Other hunters will have to provide their own transportation to the main lodge.
Depending on the time of year your hunt takes place, should you tag out early, there will be plenty of other opportunities to keep you busy. Fishing is included at no additional cost and we will supply the gear!! Predator, Dove, and Waterfowl hunts are offered as an add-on to your hunt at a reduced rate.
